Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Columbus, OH. You’ll be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey and accurate scheduling.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, coordinating referrals, reconciling payments, and maintaining relationships with patients and staff. The role offers training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team in a nationwide practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
