Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Associate to deliver frontline patient support at our Columbus locations.

You will manage calls, greet patients, assist with scheduling, and help maintain medical records in EMR or paper chart form. Qualified candidates have at least one year of customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure compassionate, efficient service to our diverse patient

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Skill in problem solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally.
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Services Associate is responsible for coordinating and providing patient support services such as answering phones, directing calls, greeting patients/visitors, maintaining patient medical records via EMR or paper charts, assisting with patient scheduling, performing office functions, and handling patient payments as applicable.
