Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Clinical Customer Service Representative to serve as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and the health care team. The role requires professional, friendly and efficient performance of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
• Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily clerical tasks and uses information systems to support the care team.
