Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Clinical Customer Service Representative for weekend coverage (Sat-Sun, 7:00pm-7:30am) to serve as the central point of contact for patients, families and staff on the care unit.

The role emphasizes professional, friendly, and efficient service, with responsibility for utilizing information and computer systems to support nursing and administrative teams in line with Johns Hopkins Hospital policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
• Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact for patients, families, visitors and health care team.
• Maintain professional, friendly and efficient daily performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Support Nursing and Administrative staff to meet unit and department needs per Hopkins policies.
