Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
• Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and health care team.
• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient daily duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Support nursing and Administrative staff to meet unit needs and Johns Hopkins policies.
• Learn and utilize clinical and administrative software as part of daily tasks.
