The ideal candidate possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 6 months in healthcare or office settings, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word; proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact for patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient daily service.
• Support Nursing and Administrative staff to meet unit needs.
• Utilize information and computer systems to assist care team.
