CityMD in New York is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly greet patients, register them, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely in-take and smooth patient flow in a high-volume setting.

This role requires excellent communication, computer skills and the ability to interact with physicians and staff; bilingual candidates may be preferred depending on site. Pay is $18.25 per hour, with VillageMD benefits and opportunities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environment preferred.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Computer proficiency with fast typing (≈55 wpm).
• Flexible/adaptive to evolving environment.
• Passion for helping others in healthcare.
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients and staff.
• Bilingual skills may be required or preferred by site location.
• Physical ability to sit/stand for periods; extensive computer use.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Register patients and coordinate with team for timely intake.
• Enter/update patient information in system accurately.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager about waiting times and patient inquiries.
