Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers arriving patients and verifies insurance.
• Answers calls, assigns priority, and directs to appropriate staff.
• Provides patient information and updates demographics in the EMR.
• Collects co-pays and explains billing policies to patients.
• Schedules new and follow-up appointments; handles necessary pre-authorization.
• Communicates to clinicians, resolves issues with patients or staff.
• Supports other front desk tasks and maintains a tidy reception area.
