Axia Women’s Health is hiring a Patient Service Representative I to provide front-desk support at the Downingtown area offices. You will handle scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, and copay collection, ensuring a positive patient experience.

The role emphasizes professional communication, teamwork with clinical staff, and adherence to SOPs and HIPAA/OSHA policies, with coverage at multiple satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Receptionist/Patient Service Representative experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and direct them to waiting areas.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and notify staff as needed.
• Route phone calls, paging, voicemail, or redirection as required.
• Retrieve and forward messages from the answering service promptly.
• Screen solicitors for relevance to care needs.
• Register new or existing patients and activate files.
• Collect and record copayments as required.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and explain benefits.
