Job summary

Axia Women's Health in Vorhees, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR I) to serve as the first and last point of contact for patients. This full-time role involves scheduling, registration, copay collection, insurance verification, and supporting daily administrative workflows.

You will work Monday–Friday with one evening shift per week, and may travel to satellite locations as needed. A High School diploma is required; prior PSR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and guide them to waiting areas.
• Direct patients to exam rooms and escort as needed.
• Route phone calls and messages efficiently.
• Register new or existing patients and activate files.
• Collect copayments and verify insurance eligibility.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
• Document patient encounters accurately and completely.
• Support clinical staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to SOPs, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements.
• Contribute to quality improvement and team meetings.
