Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and internet research.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
• Experience in customer service and call center environments.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Experience in healthcare settings and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests professionally in person or by phone.
• Register patients accurately by collecting and entering data.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; update demographics and insurance information.
• Verify demographics and update information as needed, in person or by phone.
• Provide forms and assist patients prior to appointments.
• Coordinate with nursing, imaging, radiation therapy, and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Handle calls, messages, and inquiries and route them appropriately.
• Assist with reports, statistics, and outcomes as needed.
• Upload CDs into medical systems as required.
