Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates appointments across departments and specialties.
• Manages waitlists and adjusts appointment capacity to optimize scheduling.
• Confirms appointments and provides pre‑procedure instructions to patients.
• Tracks and validates patient records from external sources prior to appointments.
• Acts as liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff during appointments.
• Processes payments and reconciles daily financials; may manage insurer arrangements.
• Coordinates surgical cases and pre/post‑op scheduling across multidisciplinary teams.
• Completes outreach for new patient visits and transfer‑of‑care scheduling.
