Job summary

Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization seeks a PSA to coordinate daily clinic prep, check-in/out, billing support, and appointment scheduling. You will interact with patients, collect co-pays, post charges, and ensure accurate patient data in Maestro Care.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, basic data entry, and familiarity with medical terminology. Prior healthcare experience is preferred; reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience communicating with patients or the public.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and provide clear instructions.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/out patients and verify demographics.
• Post co-payments and balance accounts due.
• Educate patients on required forms and obtain signatures.
• Schedule tests and procedures; coordinate labs as requested.
• Explain billing to patients according to policies.
