• Answers incoming telephone calls in a courteous and helpful manner; relays messages and maintains confidentiality.
• Opens and routes mail; retrieves patient charts and prepares new patient records.
• Registers new patients and updates scheduling system; verifies subscriber information.
• Copies, files and retrieves medical records; assists with patient forms and billing documents.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and assists with paperwork for patients and families.
• Prepares and balances end-of-day financials; supports billing and claims processes.
