Penn Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Associate (PSA) to support front-end patient flow and front desk operations in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. You will handle arrivals/departures, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, update EMR, and answer calls with a patient-centered approach.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma and 2+ years in medical office or customer service roles, with strong communication and compliance with HIPAA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years of medical office or customer service experience.
• Experience using EMR and handling appointment scheduling is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient arrivals and departures and perform check-out duties.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Schedule and update patient appointments, and verify insurance/billing information.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA.
