Job summary

Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers is seeking a Patient Services Professional to serve as the welcoming voice and central administrative support for our clinics.

You will manage phone inquiries, schedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance, process referrals and pre-registrations, and handle other clerical tasks to support efficient clinic operations with care and discretion.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PSA I experience or equivalent
• Medical terminology class completion or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manage phone customer service and act as the welcoming voice
• Distribute communications and handle patient information (demographics, insurance)
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance details
• Process referrals, authorizations, pre-registrations and other clerical tasks
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive data
