Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient check-in and check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Verifies patient demographics and updates records in the system.
• Accepts payments for services and posts charges per guidelines.
• Generates daily payment reports and reconciles cash drawer.
• Provides information to patients and approved outside entities.
• Responds to routine inquiries about practice services and hours.
• Assists with medical records duties as requested.
• Directs patients to waiting areas and handles referrals.
