Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 1 to provide administrative support in a physician office, clinic or similar setting. You will assist patients with check-in and check-out, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will handle phone inquiries, process payments, and enter charges while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent service. Experience is less than 1 year; HS diploma required.

• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient duties including check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Assist with patient registration by collecting and verifying insurance information and entering changes into the computer system.
• Accept payments for physician/clinic services and post charges using appropriate codes.
• Provide accurate patient, medical, financial or procedural information to patients or approved outside entities.
