Variety Care in El Reno is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to greet patients, collect information, schedule appointments and manage check-out payments in the EMR system.

You will verify balances, assist with billing questions, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering friendly, courteous service in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and strong data-entry skills are required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and you may assist with front desk operations as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Legible handwriting and basic mathematic skills.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to enter simple data and basic keyboarding.
• Able to communicate with patients and staff.
• Confidential information handling.
• Able to work in a busy, stressful environment.
• Occasional interaction with difficult patients.

Responsabilidades

• Answers telephones, schedule appointments, obtain patient information, prepare chart for examination, collect and secure payments at check-out.
• Provide back-up coverage for Front Office Telephone Operator(s).
• Receive patients at the reception window and obtain required information at check-in.
• Update patient information in electronic medical records and schedule appointments.
• Post charges and payments at check-out; verify balances and assist with billing questions.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and ensure HIPAA compliance.
