Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Patient Services Advocate to warmly welcome patients and manage front-office needs, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.

The Advocate communicates clearly, handles requests with compassion, and supports the care team in delivering patient-focused service. Minimum HS diploma, 1–2 years customer service, and bilingual abilities strongly preferred; a valid BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to the needs of all patients, creating a positive front-office experience while managing expectations with compassion and respect.
• Assist in delivering patient-focused care as part of the health care team through excellent communication and problem-solving.
