Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Recent medical/radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and necessary documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for preparatory and safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely care of patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
• Safeguard medications on site per company policies.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
