Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Dover, DE seeks a Patient Service Specialist for our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and explain the visit flow.

You will handle co-pays, verify insurance, coordinate with attorneys, insurers, and translation services; strong communication and organizational skills are needed. Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional evenings until 7 pm; benefits include PTO, medical/dental plans, and retirement

Qualifications

• Insurance verification experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits as they check in/out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and over the phone.
• Maintain communications with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
