Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to serve at the front desk for a FLOAT/SPLIT schedule in MO. You will greet patients, register them, and facilitate visits while supporting the business side of the center.

The role includes floating across multiple counties and coordinating with payers and providers. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule that includes floating days and a dedicated 10-hour shift in O'Fallon South.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist- FLOAT/SPLIT

Location: O'Fallon South, MO

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- FLOATING

Wednesday- O'Fallon South 10 hours.

Will be required to float into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, and St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Compensation:$19/hour- Increases based on experience.

• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team


• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
