Dignity Health - Outpatient Center in Las Vegas seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, manage the front desk, and support a seamless patient experience. This full-time role requires strong customer service and proficiency with scheduling software.

Responsibilities include answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and collaborating with clinic staff to ensure accurate billing and smooth operations.

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred.
• Healthcare, Medical, Dental office administration preferred.

• Answers phone
• Utilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients
• Insurance verifications, referrals and pre-authorizations
• Schedules patients appointments and checks them in at arrival
• Collection of co-pays
• Daily cash balancing and weekly banking deposits
• Patient intake and data entry to ensure proper billing
• Complete daily billing reports and work with central billing office (CBO)
• Communication and teamwork with clinic staff as well as all supporting departments to create an enjoyable, seamless experience

**Front Desk Receptionist Position**

Status: Full-Time (40 Hours)

Work Schedule: Monday –Thursday 8-6, Friday 8-12

Pay range: $18.50 - $22.00 hourly based on experience

Location: 8675 West Rome Blvd, Durango Beltway Plaza, Las Vegas 89149

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays Required)

Responsibilities

• Greets patients with exceptional customer service to create a positive patient experience
• Answers phone

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required

Preferred Experience

• Customer service experience required
• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred
• Healthcare, Medical, Dental office administration preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a work day/shift
• Appropriate manual dexterity to enable typing (including10-key) throughout a work day/shift
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs, safely, from ground to waist using proper body mechanics
• Ability to carry office supplies up to 10lbs
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written direction
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
