Northeastern University in Boston, MA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to perform reception, registration, scheduling, and data entry for patients in a fast-paced health center environment. You will handle high-volume phone calls, coordinate with clinical staff, and assist with patient requests in person or via electronic messaging systems.

Reporting to the Patient Care and Operations Manager, the PatientService Specialist performs an array of administrative duties usingspecific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, orlaboratory procedures. Duties will include reception, registration,and scheduling of patients; answering a high volume of phone calls;working with clinical providers regarding patient requests,concerns, and services in person and/or by means of an electronicmessaging system; data entry; and other health center-relatedcorrespondence.
This is a 40-hour-a-week position that includes one late night aweek.
