Job summary

Dermatology Partners is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support patients, providers, and staff across multiple locations in PA, DE, and MD. You will handle scheduling for over 40 locations with various providers and manage inbound/outbound calls and inquiries.

You will transfer calls, document details for the recipient, and assist with billing issues while supporting the Virtual Medical Assistant system. This role emphasizes our core values and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to patients, Providers, and all team members through the organization
• Scheduling patient appointments for over 40 locations in 3 states with multiple providers and growing
• Handling inbound and outbound calls from external and internal sources
• Transferring calls to the appropriate department and taking detailed information to relay to the recipient
• completing call reports and logs and researching billing issues
• Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries and transferring Customer calls with complex inquiries to appropriate staff
• Handling incoming requests from external customers by e-mail or fax and managing their inquiries or requests
• Recognizing, documenting, and informing the Supervisor regarding the trends in internal and external calls
• Recommending process improvements and researching misapplied payments
• Assisting Providers with Virtual Medical Assistant system
• Other duties as assigned
