Job summary

Penn Medicine's Dermatology Clinic at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support clinicians, manage patient flow, registrations, and scheduling, and improve the patient experience.

Responsibilities include check-in/out, referrals/pre-authorizations, and serving as a liaison between staff and management while helping meet quality, financial, and operational targets in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of medical office experience required.
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience; AA/AS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in check-in/out, patient registration, scheduling, referrals/pre-authorizations.
• Oversee daily schedule and operations for assigned area; liaison between staff and management.
• May provide training/coverage and assist with surgery scheduling as needed.
