Job summary

Community Care Partners is hiring a Patient Service Representative to be the friendly first point of contact for patients. You will greet, verify information, check in appointments, and help maintain accurate records in charts and systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts.
• Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records.
• Collect and post copayments and balances; balance cash drawer daily.
• Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees.
• Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies.
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff.
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized.
• Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
