Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a patient liaison role supporting Surgical Oncology- Pancreatic Disease. You will act as a bridge between physicians and patients, helping patients access services within the health system and coordinating with referring physicians.

Responsibilities include facilitating communication, guiding patients through EPIC/Care Connect workflows, and providing follow-up to ensure timely care.

In this role, you will be providing direct support to the physicians and patients for Surgical Oncology- Pancreatic Disease. Major duties include but are not limited to:acting as a liaison for the patients and physicians in the practice, assisting patients in accessing service within the health system, facilitating communication with referring physicians, referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect.

$31.88-$45.66

• Working knowledge of patient related policies and procedures as well as a thorough understanding of the University system and it's services and programs.
• Knowledge of hospital computer systems, personal computer systems and the various software products to perform administrative work.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of cancer diagnosis.
• Familiarity and knowledge of authorization process and managed care programs.
