The Brevard Health Alliance Inc is seeking a Patient Service Representative I in Melbourne, FL. The role provides essential front-desk support, greeting patients, answering calls, and confirming appointments in the EMR system.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year in customer service; healthcare experience is preferred. The position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and 1 year experience in customer service.
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and assists patients in a timely, professional, and courteous manner; ascertain purpose of visit and direct to staff.
• Answers telephones courteously; route calls and take messages as needed.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments in the EMR system.
• Documents calls and responds to messages in a timely manner.
• Performs reminder calls for appointments and verifies insurance status/eligibility.
• Handles patient inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Upholds Brevard Health Alliance's mission and goals in daily work.
