Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children’s Women’s Center and Breast Center at Artesian Plaza seeks a Patient Service Representative to ensure warm, friendly and considerate assistance at our hospitals and clinics.

You will act as a liaison between patients and staff, handling clerical tasks, admissions, medical records, and fee processing with accuracy while delivering high-quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only full-service children’s specialty hospital and the state’s only maternity, newborn, and pediatric specialty hospital. As a Patient Service Representative in our Women’s Center and Breast Center at Artesian Plaza, you will help to ensure that our patients and their families receive warm, friendly and considerate assistance at our hospitals and clinics. You will act as a liaison between patients and the professional staff by facilitating clerical and reception responsibilities and assisting in a variety of administrative tasks. These include interviewing, registering, admitting, updating and creating patients’ medical records; performing accurate and timely processing of all professional/technical fees generated by department providers; and performing cash handling and collection. We are looking for someone sensitive and helpful, with excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
