Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The Kapi‘olani Pediatric Outpatient Clinic offers comprehensive pediatric services for children and teens from birth to 21 years of age. Our dedicated and engaging staff provides an array of services such as: physical check-ups; vaccinations and TB screening; treatment and management of childhood illnesses; coordinated management of special health problems and chronic illnesses; hearing/vision screening; WIC/Head Start check-ups and lab services and diagnostic and minor surgical procedures.

As the Medical Assistant, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages.
