You will interact with patients and staff, maintain HIPAA compliance, and use EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office to manage appointments, financial responsibilities, and test preparations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record for patient care teams.
• Check in and register patients; collect demographic and insurance info; discuss co-pays.
• Explain insurance coverage and discuss services not paid by the plan.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Greet patients, answer calls, and provide directions or assistance as needed.
• Monitor EHR work queues and follow department processes.
