Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years registration or face-to-face customer service healthcare setting.
• Minimum 3 years registration or face-to-face customer service healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes proper patient identification and collects accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and documents benefits.
• Reviews Medicare MSPQ and explains in/out of network status to patients.
• Handles payments and ABN amounts, and coordinates financial counseling for uninsured.
• Assists with scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and data entry for audits.
