Baystate Health is seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Representative for the Baystate Primary Care and Pediatrics team in Springfield, MA. Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6–18 months experience preferred (PSR I or II) or 3 years preferred (PSR III).
• This position is part of a career ladder; level determined by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in; verify demographics and referrals.
• Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and update patient accounts.
• Schedule and manage appointments according to practice guidelines.
• Assist with checkout, referrals, and printing/distributing forms and records.
• Route calls and manage administrative inbox messages in HIPAA-compliant manner.
