Rush University Medical Center in Lansdowne, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk and patient intake at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit and next appointment, balancing front desk operations with payer communications.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• 1 year medical office experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
