Job summary

MyEyeDr. is hiring a Patient Service Coordinator to support front desk operations, check-in/check-out, and patient experiences. Training will be provided to learn about the optical industry while delivering best-in-class vision care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves coordinating appointments, confirming visits, and assisting with patient communications. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, with a pay range of $17.15–$20.15 per hour, in Maryland offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; friendly, patient-centric demeanor.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best in class service.
• Willingness to collaborate and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and standard software for scheduling and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience that is timely and seamless.
• Verify patient insurance and educate patients on options at check in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and patient outreach in coordination with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, and support office staff.
• Cross-train to other office support roles as needed (Eyewear Consultants, Optometric Technicians).
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a smooth patient experience.
