Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to provide personalized patient experiences at the front desk during check in/out. Training will be provided for those without optical experience.

Some weekend and evening shifts are required, and the role reports to the Office General Manager. The position is based in Virginia with local wage ranges depending on location. Responsibilities include verifying insurance options, assisting with confirmations, and supporting office staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best in class service.
• Flexible and adaptable with ability to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, caring, patient-centric team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that is timely, seamless, and positive.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options at check in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and patient outreach in coordination with doctor availability.
• Multitask by handling multiple phone lines, greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist office staff as needed.
• Possibly cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience.
