Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for procedures, post-operative appointments, pre-admission testing, testing, surgery, follow up and wait list.
• Maintains multiple applications for scheduling and data collection; coordinates locations, staff and resources.
• Communicates schedules daily; updates staff and handles revisions.
• Acts as liaison to internal departments and external resources.
• Ensures paperwork is complete and preauthorization obtained; processes referrals.
• Documents procedures and resources; tracks service and equipment usage; generates revisions.
• Contracts with vendors for equipment delivery and ensures resources for scheduled procedures.
