Job summary

The NeuroMedical Center is seeking an appointment scheduler to manage patient appointments, coordinate office and diagnostic visits, and keep physician and staff schedules aligned. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, update records, and ensure accurate patient data entry.

This role requires strong customer service and computer skills, dependability, and knowledge of insurance plans. Healthcare experience is a plus, with shifts on weekdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule or cancel patient appointments by inbound and outbound telephone calls.
• Accept and update medical records, route documents to appropriate staff.
• Completes patient appointment request via portal messages or patient cases.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information in the computer.
• Assist with rescheduling clinics, patient check-out, and department coverage, etc.
