Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to join our team. You will schedule appointments by phone, in person, or electronically, and coordinate with clinic staff to ensure timely care for patients.

This part-time 80% FTE role offers weekday hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekend rotation. Starting pay is $19.59 per hour, and benefits include health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and parental/adoption benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
• No minimum education required.

Work Schedule:

Pay:

Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to:

• Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
• Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
• Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Work Experience

• 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
• Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
• Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred
• Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
