Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year in customer service or outpatient-related scheduling.
• Delivers on scheduling ambulatory appointments and accurate data collection for financial processing.
• Interacts with patients, guardians, and providers to ensure correct demographics and insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Receive appointment requests
• Identify or create MRN
• Collect demographic and insurance information
• Determine in/out of network and need for financial counseling
• Screen for financial assistance and collect co-pays
• Schedule appointments with appropriate service and provider
• Register donors and research participants (where applicable)
• Review and process DAR/HAR accuracy and authorizations
• Handle check-in/out and follow-up reminders
• Provide phone support and iCARE customer service standards
• Template management and train others
• Schedule multidisciplinary visits and coordinate referrals
