Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred.
• 1 year experience in a healthcare call center – preferred.
• Trained in HIPAA general protocols and department-specific training as required.
• Proficient in keyboard typing and data-entry.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls to schedule appointments.
• Perform a full and complete patient registration.
• Address scheduling, insurance, or registration inquiries from patients.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with empathy in a busy environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
