Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Registrar to provide courteous registration and scheduling services for patients and families. You will interview patients to collect demographics, verify insurance, and support clinical staff with paperwork and patient care as needed.

The role involves check-in/check-out, data accuracy, and friendly patient interactions in a on-site setting. Training will cover hospital policies and high-reliability practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Strong typing skills/speed.
• Comfort in answering phones and speaking with customers on the phone.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Ability to read and write clearly, and understand policies, labels, and written instructions.

Responsabilités

• Handles scheduling, check-in/check-out and patient registration.
• Ensures accurate data entry of patient information.
• Interacts professionally with patients, providers and staff.
• Collects co-pays and balances end-of-day deposits.
• Balances cash and maintains financial records per policy.
