Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a part-time Centralized Scheduling specialist for an 8-hour day shift. The role is based in the Wells Fargo Building, 8th floor, near the hospital, and focuses on pre-certification and patient registrations in the hospital's scheduling call center.

You will pre-register outpatients, verify financial and demographic information, and provide consistent patient service while collaborating with a team to improve overall scheduling efficiency and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task required.
• Knowledge of call center phone systems and registration/insurance verification is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with computerized scheduling system required.

Responsabilités

• Exhibit proficiency in scheduling and pre-certification.
• Pre-register and pre-certify outpatients by obtaining necessary, accurate information.
