Qualifications

• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of retail, customer service or health care experience.
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information of department/procedure scheduling criteria.
• Be proactive with customers and offer alternatives.
• Demonstrate superb telephone etiquette and professional communication.
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-9/10 and CPT codes as needed.
• Review schedules daily and communicate changes to staff.

Education
