Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of retail, customer service or health care experience.
• Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information of department/procedure specific scheduling criteria to expedite patient prep and arrival.
• Be proactive with customers by listening, showing empathy and offering alternatives.
• Exhibit superb telephone etiquette and professional communication at all times.
• Support registration and scheduling systems and use web-based resources.
• Maintain knowledge of scheduling criteria, ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes as needed.
