AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a details-driven Scheduling Specialist to manage outpatient test scheduling and pre-registration with accuracy and care. You will handle multiple calls, maintain records, and coordinate with insurers and providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ healthcare or scheduling experience, with CPR preferred. Work is on-site in Winter Garden, with day shift hours establishing a reliable routine for patients and teams.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1+ healthcare experience required.
• 1+ scheduling or patient access experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling requests for outpatient tests and schedules patient exams in a timely manner.
• Completes pre-registration for patient clinical and financial data over the phone accurately and courteously.
• Maintains scheduling system and electronic records with up-to-date information.
• Liaises with insurance providers, case managers, and registrars; handles calls to providers and patient inquiries.
• Identifies and resolves scheduling, account, or payment issues and ensures compliance with insurance rules.
