Job summary

AdventHealth Palm Coast is seeking a detail-oriented participant to support patient registration and scheduling for outpatient services. You will liaise with registration and ancillary departments to ensure accurate data capture and throughput, schedule appointments for ancillary services, and promptly update physician offices on non-covered items.

Strong clerical skills and proficiency with office equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency required.
• Knowledge of small office equipment (copier/fax/calculator) required.
• High School Grad or Equiv required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the registration and scheduling process for patients.
• Communicates with registration and ancillary departments to ensure accurate capture and throughput of all outpatient appointments.
• Schedules patient appointments for ancillary departments and notifies physician offices of possible non-covered appointments.
• Facilitates precertification for outpatient clinics and enters appointment information.
• Attends staff meetings and maintains clerical duties supporting scheduling processes.
