Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring for a patient care role working 32 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays. You will directly observe patients, assist with rounds, ensure safety, and manage supplies within a hospital unit.

Responsibilities include timely documentation, communicating patient changes to the RN, and participating in unit-based quality improvements. A high school diploma or GED and current BLS are required; de-escalation training will be provided

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or in Health Sciences program.
• BLS certification current within 3 months of hire.
• Hospital approved de-escalation training during orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and observe the patient from arm's length and monitor changes.
• Participate in patient rounding as directed by the RN.
• Ensure environmental safety and respond to call lights promptly.
• Restock supplies and transport patients as needed within the unit.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes to the RN.
• Support quality improvement activities and respect cultural needs.
